Caryl Beth Thomas has been working as a Music Therapist since 1983. Her clinical work has included a wide variety of settings, age groups and populations including mental health and medical services, developmental disabilities, geriatrics, school-age children and adolescents, and music therapy supervision for students and professionals. She works full time as a music therapist for the Metro-Boston Mental Health Units at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain. She is also a part-time lecturer at Lesley University’s Graduate School of Expressive Therapies and Northeastern University and a field training instructor for Berklee College of Music.
