As a student in our undergraduate program, you will be introduced to the working world of journalists and public relations practitioners. You will be taught by top-notch faculty, including an investigative reporter from The Boston Globe, a Wired Magazine contributing editor, a former Cold War correspondent, the owner of a communications agency, authors, consultants, and professors with experience at some of the most prestigious news agencies in the world.

 

Some of the exciting courses School of Journalism students can take include:

  • Reinventing the News – This class introduces students to journalism in the digital age.
  • Multimedia Storytelling – Today’s journalists use a variety of methods to report a story, including video, photos, and Twitter.
  • Investigative Reporting Seminar – Students selected for this class research and write investigative stories for The Boston Globe.
  • Writing for Boston Globe’s “Your Town” – Students in this class write stories for “Your Town,” the Boston Globe’s online community news sites.
