Former Bruins player Derek Sanderson talks about his new book

Former Boston Bruins icon Derek “Turk” Sanderson talked about his autobiography, “Crossing the Line: The Outrageous Story of a Hockey Original,” on February 5 at the Boston Public Library for the Author Talk Series.  The February 8, article, “Hockey fans gather to hear ex-Bruin Derek Sanderson talk of triumphs, struggles,” was written by Michael Anderson for an assignment in Lisa Chedekel’s Writing for Your Town class.  Sanderson, a member of the Bruins’ from 1965-74 spoke about his book, which details his alcohol and substance abuse addiction.  He was a member of the 1970 and 1972 Stanley Cup winning seasons.
