The game industry is extremely competitive, and by taking a co-op position students gain valuable work experience within their field of study while still in school. Students are placed at leading companies in the game industry and perform relevant, full-time work as contributing members of the company’s team in positions such as software engineers, testers, and producers.

The co-op experience enriches classroom work by giving students real-world knowledge that builds upon their academic education. A co-op experience also helps students shape their career by helping them realize the type of courses they need in order to build their dream career. Co-op placements also help students build a network of contacts in the industry for post-graduation job searches.
