The Ecology of a Great City
Steeped in history and tradition, yet full of visionary spirit, the Fenway is home to many esteemed cultural and academic institutions. Over time, it has become a nexus for artists, creative innovators, and researchers, as well as a dynamic community for the neighborhood residents.
As we approach the one year anniversary of the official state-designated Fenway Cultural District*, TEDxFenway invites you to join us as we explore what makes up the ‘ecology’ of a great city.
Lunch will be provided by the Fenway Alliance, and a post-event reception will be hosted by the Boston Symphony Orchestra. George Thrush, the director of the School of Architecture will be one of the featured speakers at TEDxFenway.
*The state-designation of Cultural Districts is a Massachusetts Cultural Council initiative. The Fenway Cultural District received official designation on March 20, 2012.
