Art + Design Lecture: Wang Lei

The Department of Art + Design presents Wang Lei

Wang Lei is the Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of the School of Animation and Digital Arts, Communication University of China (CUC), one of the leading animation schools in China. He is currently teaching Computer Animation (undergraduate) and Animation Studies (graduate) courses at CUC. He has published five books and more than 50 essays on animation and digital media. As a filmmaker, Wang has worked for multiple projects as animation director or producer. He is also one of the main curators of the China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival and an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) of Autodesk Maya. Wang is a visiting scholar in the Department of Art + Design.
