In collaboration with our teaching faculty, the Department of Communication Studies sponsors an annual Academic Achievement Award. This award acknowledges exceptional critical skills used by our students and rewards outstanding academic achievement. The winner of the Academic Achievement Award will be presented with $300 check and a plaque. Qualifications for the award include a high GPA in Communication Studies coursework, and submission of a research paper/essay, written within a Communication Studies course, that best demonstrates the applicant’s excellence in scholarship.
