Bill Lancaster is the recipient of 40 free copies of the NY Producer’s Guide, one of the film and television industry’s top reference publications. The guide is a “who’s who” of contact information for entertainment professionals, including actors, casting agencies, studio executives, voice over talent, public relations executives, and event planners, among dozens of other sources.
Copies of the guide which retails for $50 will be made available to the Department of Communication Studies, Snell Library and to interested faculty.
The donation was facilitated by Priscilla Babchak, one of Lancaster’s students in Producing for the Entertainment Industry. Her father Rick Babchak is editor of the NY Producer’s Guide and a veteran New York producer of television commercials, feature films and documentaries. He was one of the first producers to work on IMAX movies.
