Carlos Jiménez Cahua
Carlos Jiménez Cahua received an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His work has been reviewed in The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal and Artforum. He is a recipient of the Emerging Artist Grant from the St. Botolph Club (Boston, MA) and was recently an artist-in-residence at I-Park (East Haddam, CT). He has participated in exhibitions at the Princeton University Art Museum (Princeton, NJ), the Courtauld Institute of Art (London,UK) and Samsøñ (Boston, MA), with forthcoming exhibitions at the University of New Hampshire Museum of Art (Durham, NH; 2015) and the Art Musuem of the Americas (Washington, DC; 2016). He is a co-founder of kijidome, an artist-run exhibition and event space in Boston. During 2014 – 2015, he is participating in Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Workspace Program as well as serving as a 2014 – 2015 Visiting Scholar with the NYU Steinhardt School of Education, Culture, and Human Resources, Department of Art and Art Professions.
