The Art major at Northeastern University is a general studio-based program that balances art history with studio art projects and classes in drawing and painting.

Students pursuing a BA in Art focus on a well-rounded liberal arts education with a breadth of general studies in the arts and humanities, the natural and physical sciences, and the social sciences. Art majors have the option to take introductory courses in Digital Art and Graphic Design.

To declare a half major that is housed in the College of Arts, Media and Design (CAMD), come to Academic Advising and Cooperative Education (AACE) office at 100 Meserve Hall to  meet with an Academic Advisor.

Course numbers and names are subject to change in future.
