The Media Train­ing Stu­dios serve as hands-on video and audio train­ing facil­i­ties for stu­dents in sev­eral depart­ments, includ­ing Art + Design. Stu­dents uti­lize it to pro­duce tele­vi­sion pro­gram­ming and per­form real-time video edit­ing. Along with TV stu­dios and con­trol rooms, the facil­i­ties com­prise video edit­ing suites sup­port­ing Avid and Final Cut Pro for pro­fes­sional qual­ity non-linear dig­i­tal edit­ing. The stu­dios also con­tain a pro­fes­sional music and audio record­ing facility.

Spe­cial effects work requires a facil­ity for remov­ing or key­ing out the back­ground behind the actors. Our cyclo­rama (green room) allows stu­dents to cap­ture live-action footage using high-definition dig­i­tal stu­dio cameras.
