As General Manager of Continuum Advanced Systems, Tom is responsible for managing the company business that works at the intersection of technology, systems, and human centered design. He oversees the team that is responsible for developing systems and technologies that deliver value to people and business results to clients. Tom is also part of the executive management team for the company.
While with Continuum, Tom’s clients have included General Dynamics, Abbott Labs, Insulet, Avedro and Ingersoll Rand. Prior to joining Continuum, he worked in research and product development for the Eastman Kodak Company for more than 13 years. While at Eastman Kodak, he played a key role in product development efforts in consumer photography, office products and government businesses, and worked closely with manufacturing partners around the world.
Tom holds 23 patents in the fields of mechanical systems, photofinishing equipment and electrophotography, and received the Distinguished Inventors Award from the CTO of Eastman Kodak. He is a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Mechanical Engineering Department at Boston University, a frequent lecturer on the topic of product innovation, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Massachusetts. Tom holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, where he graduated as a Presidential Scholar with Great Distinction.
