Are you interested in the financial aspects of the built environment, or in pursuing a career in real estate or development? The newly designed Business and Design Thinking track of the BS in Architectural Studies provides a rigorous but flexible program in which to study the most important issues related to the business aspect of design and architecture.

Students in the Business and Design Thinking track complete the core history sequence and first three design studios along with students in the professional architecture track, the BS in Architecture. After their fourth semester, students in the Business and Design Thinking track are offered specially designed studio, technology, and seminar courses. Greater flexibility in the curriculum as compared to the professional track also allows students to take advantage of the wide range of elective offerings both in the College of Architecture and throughout the university.

Note that all students completing the BS in Architectural Studies degree are eligible for Northeastern’s Two-Year Master of Architecture Program.
