“The Coolest Co-op” Student Challenge

Vying for the "coolest co-op" at Northeastern, students produce their own experiential learning videos.

Experiential Learning & Co-op

At the core of our curriculum, experiential learning prepares students for career success and is enlivened by a spirit of creative entrepreneurship that challenges them to think about and engage with our world in new, innovative, and meaningful ways. With over 3000 hands-on placements to date both near and afar, co-ops through CAMD have helped students turn passions into hands-on experiences that inform academic study.

Co-op is a full-time professional position in a student’s chosen field. Some of our top employers include: AMC Networks, Ann Beha Architects, Constant Contact, Cox Communications Dana Farber, EMC, Harry Fox Agency, Harvard Medical School, KPF Architects, NBC Universal Television, Perkins + Will, Reebok, The Boston Globe, and more...

Pursuing research projects at CAMD, students have the opportunity to study, deepen, and push the boundaries of their interests, either independently or under the mentorship of our industry-leading faculty, evolving notions of artistic expression into culturally impactful pursuits. Learn more →

Combining traditional coursework with local, hands-on social justice activities, service-learning allows students to make a tangible and immediate difference through the arts, both on Northeastern’s campus and within the vibrant urban communities of Boston that surround it.
