Jennifer Bhuiyan received her Doctor of Pharmacy from St. John’s University in Queens, NY in 2011. She subsequently completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2012 and PGY2 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency with an Emphasis in Underserved Care and Global Health at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA in 2013. As a resident, she had the opportunity to practice with and teach students, patients and other health care professionals in a variety of underserved settings in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Bhuiyan received the St. Luke/St. Martin De Porres Award for Service from St. John’s University in 2011 and Resident of Excellence in Education Award from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Bhuiyan practices at Lynn Community Health Center in Lynn, MA, where she serves a multicultural, underserved patient population. Her research and teaching interests are in the areas of global health, public health, primary care, and underserved care.
