The foundational approach of the Pathways Program involves in-depth study in several areas of health and the general sciences. It provides you with a variety of options when you select your major and when you embark on a career in health care.
Pathways offers three semesters of essential courses like Biology and Chemistry, along with interdisciplinary health-related courses such as American Health Care Systems and Community and Public Health. Most of the content of the Pathways Program is common to Bouvé professional programs, so it is an effective entry point for your health sciences education.
The Pathways Program is designed to facilitate a smooth transition into a health sciences major at Bouvé College. The courses give you needed background during your first three semesters so that you can begin to focus on your professional major during your fourth semester at Northeastern. As a Pathways student, you typically declare a major after your second or third semester at Northeastern University.
Part of what makes the Bouvé College of Health Sciences such a strong player in heath careers is that it offers nursing, pharmacy, and health professions within one college.
