Bio:  Jennifer is Nurse Specialist at the Institute on Urban Health Research. Since 2006, she has been responsible for conducting a brief interventions using BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening & Intervention for College Students). The research project is funded by a SAMHSA grant to evaluate the effectiveness of BASICS delivered at University Health and Counseling Services at Northeastern University. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont in 1999 and her Master’s in Public Health from Boston University in 2007. She is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses.
