The College prepares students for health science careers in nine undergraduate and 29 graduate majors. The comprehensive array of skills, expertise, and professions present in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences is found at few institutions.
Our broad range of disciplines creates exceptional opportunities to engage faculty and students in unique interdisciplinary learning, practice, and research designed to explore the central concerns of the biotechnology and health care industries.
Whether it is devising strategies to educate health professionals in community settings, developing techniques to target drugs to specific organs, investigating the impact of exercise on cardiovascular health, studying the effect of gender differences in career development, or creating technology to assist infants to communicate, Bouvé faculty and staff scientists have received national and international acclaim for their research, teaching, and professional service.
This is a very exciting time for the health sciences at Northeastern University. We have completed the construction of the Behrakis Health Science Center. This 100,000 sq. ft. building is providing our health science students with one of the most advanced learning and clinical simulation environments in the nation.
