BRAIN AWARENESS WEEK EVENTS

MONDAY – MARCH 17th Keynote Talk by Margaret Livingstone, Ph.D. will kick off Brain Awareness Week “What Art Can Tell Us About the Brain”

Dr. Margaret Livingston, Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School will give the keynote talk that will kickoff Brain Awareness Week events hosted by the NEURONs Club on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 6:30-7:30pm in 200 Richards. Light refreshments will be provided.

TUESDAY- MARCH 18th “Relax; Breathe. A Meditation”
200 Ell Hall, Sacred Space and Reflection Room, 7:30-9 pm
Learn about the science of meditation, followed by a guided meditation
Light refreshments will be provided.

TUESDAY- MARCH 18th “Brunch for the Sciences”
9:15-11am, Grab-N-Go breakfast in Krenztman Quad
Donuts, bagels, and coffee and some scientific conversation
- joint event with other COS clubs

THURSDAY, MARCH 20th
“World of Neuroscience- Cupcake Decorating and Data Blitz”
4th floor of Curry, International Student Office, Kitchen, 7 p.m.
Cupcake decorating followed by one minute presentations on current neuroscience topics around the world

FRIDAY – MARCH 21st “Psyc’ed For Life!- Relay for Life”
6 pm Mathews Arena
Join our and PsyClub’s team “Psyc’ed for Life!” at Relay for Life and enter Northeastern University for more event details.
