Other Activities

Between classes and performances, we were able to take advantage of some of the other activities that Bali has to offer, one of the most beautiful places in the world!

We took a 25-mile bike ride through mountains and rice paddies (mostly downhill…)

The best way to enjoy the natural beauty of Bali is by bicycle

We learned how to make some of the tiny offerings that are found scattered throughout streets, temples, businesses, and homes across Bali.

Women making offerings - an activity that takes up about 1/3 of their time.

Some of us climbed volcanos (and couldn’t walk for days afterward…)

And we all enjoyed the sacred monkey forest, right in Ubud!

If only I could have gotten them to do the "See no evil, hear no evil.." pose!

Baby monkeys

Hey!
