Why did you choose this major, and does/did it seem like the right major for you? Why?

I chose sociology as a major given my interest in community development.

Why did you choose NU? Was/is this the right school for you?

Northeastern's location in Boston, campus structure, co- op program, and general quality attracted me to the school.

How many co-ops have you completed?

Two - I was given the opportunity to begin my own business and network my personal interests through a research project.

Can you list the companies and give a quick synopsis of what you did?

My first co-op was at Mass Premier Soccer as the Assistant League and Tournament Director.

For my second co-op, I was able to create my own co-op which was made up of a research project, business venture and extensive networking. I created my own business, Soccer1.

Did you have any other "learning from outside of the classroom" (service learning, student leadership, study abroad, research, or volunteering) that also enriched your time here?

I was also able to follow up this co-op with an internship at Sport in Society that I connected with via my 2nd co-op.

Have you Graduated from NU? If Yes, please let us know what you are doing.

Yes - My experience during co-op has shown me that Northeastern and the co-op program is truly committed to innovation and experiential learning. I am planning on attending a business school for an MBA next year.
