Over
450 alumni, parents and friends gathered at the City of Palms
Park in Fort Myers, Florida on Friday, March 3 to cheer on the
Huskies as they battled the Boston Red Sox in a spring training
game. Festivities began with a pre-game cookout which included
remarks from VP for Alumni Relations, Jack Moynihan, MPA'93;
Northeastern President, Richard M. Freeland; head baseball coach,
Neil McPhee; and Student-athlete, Chris Emanuele. A good time
was had by all! Although the Huskies lost the game 9-2, Chris
Emanuele got the Huskies on the board with a lead off homerun
against All-Star pitcher, Matt Clement.
