OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARDS
First presented in 1978, the Outstanding Alumni Award is given annually to those graduates whose professional attainment and service to the community bring honor upon themselves and Northeastern University. Candidates are chosen on the basis of integrity, character, professional achievement, community service, and service to Northeastern. One recipient is chosen from each college each year.

THE MEDALLION AWARD
First conceived in 1996, the Medallion Award celebrates the achievement of Northeastern alumni/ae who have graduated from University programs within the past ten years. Chosen on the basis of integrity, character, professional accomplishment, community service, and service to Northeastern, recipients of this award represent the Northeastern spirit at its best: their dynamism, determination, and generosity reflect all of the potential that exists within a Northeastern education.

THE W. ERWIN STORY CITATION
The W. Erwin Story Citation was established in 1979 to recognize a Northeastern graduate whose commitment to the University sets an example for fellow alumni. It is named for W. Erwin Story, E'29, longtime president of the Bay Path Alumni Club and leader of his class activities.

THE GOVERNORS TROPHY
Established in 2002, the Governors Trophy is awarded to a constituent organization of the alumni body that has made a clear and outstanding contribution to the University by helping to fulfill Northeastern's academic, financial and professional goals.
