Exciting
Online Developments for Graduates
Development of NUSL Online Community
The law school is in the design development phase of an online community
or “portal” for our graduates. It will be accessed through
the main alumni/ae page of the NUSL Web site. The online community will
offer a place for graduates to network with each other, an area to register
for lifetime e-mail addresses, a “yellow pages” section for
graduates to advertise their firms, a section to enter class notes online,
an events calendar and registration area, and more. We envision this portal
providing many useful services for graduates with an anticipated roll-out
date in the fall.
Online
Magazine Debut
The law school’s award-winning magazine, Northeastern
Law, is now online! You can catch up electronically on the latest
news and information about your fellow graduates and read all of the back
issues.
Opportunities
for Alumni/ae Involvement/Mentoring
There are many ways to give back to the School of Law. You can become
involved as a moot court judge or mock trial coach, participate as a Law,
Culture and Difference class advisor, or serve as a negotiating or writing
competition coach for students. The Office of Alumni/ae Relations is working
closely with Professor Susan Maze-Rothstein to coordinate alumni/ae involvement.
Please contact us at 617-373-8268 or e-mail the Office
of Alumni/ae Relations, if you are interested in participating as
we are begin to develop a more extensive joint program for both students
and graduates.
Alumni/ae
Speakers Bureau
The Office of Alumni/ae Relations is establishing a more formal Speakers
Bureau comprised of our outstanding graduates in specific areas of practice.
If you are an accomplished speaker in a particular area or, if you have
heard one of our graduates speak on a particular topic and would like
to recommend him or her; we would love to hear from you. Additionally,
if you need a speaker for an event, please do not hesitate to contact
us and we can put you in touch with a graduate. Please e-mail Patricia
Fitzgerald.
