Two Members of Class of 2007 Named as Equal Justice Works Fellows
Two third-year students — Cristina Dacchille and Ambika Panday — were awarded Equal Justice Works fellowships to begin next fall. They both received early offers and are incredibly deserving students.

Dacchille will be working with the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children (formerly the Family Advocacy Project at the BMC), where she did a co-op. She will be helping citizen-children in mixed-status families access and maintain public benefits to which they are entitled under Massachusetts law. Her project was sponsored by Pfizer.

Panday will be working at Greater Boston Legal Services in the Welfare Law Unit, where she did a co-op, advocating on behalf of families headed by a parent with disabilities for equal and effective access to welfare and other public benefits and services. Her project will focus on parents who are immigrants, are disabled, and/or who have additional obstacles to securing income or navigating bureaucracies. She will establish a new partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital, which will refer families to her for legal representation. Her project was sponsored by Greenberg Traurig.
