The Impact of Giving

Q. Why did you give to The Northeastern Fund?

Northeastern gave so much to me professionally. I have a great job that I would not have been able to attain without skills I learned in the classroom and on co-op. I have a great network of friends that I met at NU and still have to this day. I wanted to give back to give others the opportunity to experience and gain what I have.

Q. To which school/college or program did you designate your gift?

I designated my gift to benefit Financial Aid as well as the College of Business Administration.

Q. How would you like to see your gift utilized?

To purchase resources to make the CBA programs even stronger, to attract and

keep excellent professors, and to purchase materials for in-class development (case studies, etc.)

Q. What would you say to a fellow alumnus/a who is considering making a gift to The Northeastern Fund?

Giving back to NU helps strengthen the organization that you were a part of, not only in the obvious ways, but it also benefits you professionally. Making NU a better place helps bring national and international attention as well, and helps improve its ranking as compared to other schools. Let’s be honest: In the business world, it is very important to be part of an academically successful organization, along the likes of schools like Harvard and Babson. We can help NU get to that level.
