Golden Grads provide window to the past at Commencement 2008
Continuing a tradition of involvement with our most seasoned alumni, around 40 Golden Graduates participated in Commencement 2008 on May 2, leading the procession of graduating seniors into the TD Banknorth Garden.
Huskies who graduated 50 or more years ago took part in the program, allowing alumni a chance to revel in the seniors' memorable day. It also gives Golden Graduates the opportunity to remember the days of yore, rediscover the Northeastern of today, and reunite with fellow grads.
It was part of a day filled with activities, including a luncheon at the Cabral Center in the African-American Institute and a private guided tour of Symphony Hall.
Members of the Class of 1958, celebrating their 50th Reunion, also took part in the program as well as a reunion dinner later in the evening in the Alumni Center.
