Northeastern University Night at the Pops
More than 1,400 Northeastern University alumni, staff, faculty, and friends soaked in the sights and sounds of Symphony Hall at the 13th annual Northeastern Night at the Pops, hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations on May 10.
The Boston Pops paid tribute to legendary composer Leonard Bernstein, and Neal Finnegan, BA’61, H’98, Past Chairman of the Northeastern Board of Trustees, took the baton as guest conductor during the playing of Stars and Stripes Forever.
“This was a great opportunity to bring alumni back to campus and celebrate two great organizations,” said Jack Moynihan, MPA’93, Vice President of Alumni Relations and The Northeastern Fund.
Northeastern Night at the Pops has become an integral part of Reunion Weekend. The concert is the culmination event of a weekend full of activities and provides a unique environment for classmates and fellow Huskies to enjoy one of Boston’s most precious cultural jewels.
