Q. Why did you give to The Northeastern Fund?

I believe Northeastern University is an outstanding institution and I’m proud to have attended and graduated in 1991. ... I hope my gift can be used to help build the reputation as a world-class institution.

 
Q. To which school/college or program did you designate your gift?

I have not designated my gift to any one program. However, I’d like to see club sports such as rugby, which I played for a couple of seasons, included in a matching program. The Northeastern University rugby team represents the school well, is organized, and has great leadership, and I think it’s important to nurture these programs and give students access to first-class facilities and equipment at the club level.

 
Q. How would you like to see your gift utilized?

I’d like to see my gift utilized in furthering the good Northeastern name to potential students across the country.

 
Q. What would you say to a fellow alumnus/a who is considering making a gift to The Northeastern Fund?

For anyone thinking about giving to the Northeastern Fund I would highly encourage them to visit and see all that has been accomplished over the past several years. Also, it still takes a special type of person to make it through the program and overcome the many challenges that only help to broaden the college experience. Many of my friends are very successful in their fields and I’d encourage alumni to support the institution.

I think there is a perception that Northeastern has a lot of money and may not need it, but with all the building, growth, and development, it is needed now more than ever in order to stay competitive in the highly competitive educational market.
