It's Time to Brand Yourself!
The Boston Alumni Chapter Networking Exchange partnered with the College of Professional Studies and the Communications Alumni Network for our monthly meeting and a panel discussion. Panelists discussed the current job outlook for communications professionals, perspectives on the concept of personal branding, the role of credentials, the importance of networking, and ways to create and promote your personal brand.

A Day at the Orchard
The Boston and New Hampshire Alumni Chapters joined together to host a day at Applecrest Farm Orchards in Hampton Falls, NH. Alumni visited the farm to pick their own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the autumn traditions the orchard had to offer.

Alumni from the Boston and Rhode Island Chapters enjoyed a tour of the beautiful Sakonnet Vineyard and then had the opportunity to taste the wineries variety of wines during an alumni luncheon.

Boston Alumni Softball Tournament
The Boston Alumni Chapter participated in the third annual Boston Alumni Co-ed Softball Tournament featuring alumni teams from RPI, Tufts, UConn, UVA, UVM, and University of Washington at St. Louis. The Huskies went 1-2 for the day and UConn took home the trophy.

Boston Alumni Chapter Community Service Day
Alumni volunteered at the Greater Boston Food Bank on a beautiful Saturday, helping to sort 7,708 pounds of food. Their efforts salvaged 6,165 pounds of food and made 4,743 meals possible for those in need in the Boston area.
