Golf Outing

The annual Alumni Dinner and Golf Outing, hosted by Mel, P’56, and Martha Aronson at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, provided the perfect backdrop for generations of Huskies to gather for a day of camaraderie and friendship.

The March 1 event offered golfers an opportunity to play a magnificent course with a rich history and tradition as one of the finest in Florida. Later in the evening, alumni, family, and friends of Northeastern University networked and socialized in a breathtaking setting before enjoying a sumptuous meal.

Most importantly, the dinner and golf outing helped raise vital scholarship dollars in an effort to continue providing outstanding educational opportunities for Northeastern University students.

“We really couldn’t thank Mel and Martha enough for everything they do to make this event such a success,” said Jack Moynihan. “Their loyalty to Northeastern is unquestioned and they’ve done so much to help put the university in the position it is in today. They’ve been an integral part of the Northeastern family for many years.”

The Alumni Dinner and Golf Outing marked a fitting conclusion to a very successful Florida Swing. More than 800 Northeastern alumni and supporters of the University attended events that also included the sixth annual Huskies vs. Red Sox Cookout and Spring Training Game in Fort Myers on February 28, as well as networking and wine-tasting and dinner events in Tampa and Miami earlier in the week.
