Parking is not available at the Esplanade, however the Esplanade is easily accessible by the MBTA:

Take any Green Line train to the Arlington Street Station. Walk along the Public Garden/Arlington Street to Beacon Street. Cross over Beacon Street and take the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge over Storrow Drive to the Hatch Shell.

Take the Red Line to the Charles Street/MGH station. Take the footbridge over Storrow Drive to the Charles River side and walk west along Storrow Drive. The Hatch Shell is a short walk from there.

If you are driving, one of the closest parking garages is the Boston Common Garage on Charles Street. From there, cut through the Public Garden to Arlington Street; turn right and walk down Arlington Street to Beacon Street. Cross over Beacon Street and take the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge over Storrow Drive to the Hatch Shell.

From the Hatch Shell area, follow Big Dog 5K signs which will be posted to direct you to the Lagoon area, a short walk west, where race registration will be located. The Lagoon field is on the bank of the Charles River.
