Akram Alshawabkeh is the George A. Snell Professor of Engineering, a University Distinguished Professor, Director of the PROTECT Center, and Senior Associate Dean for Research and Global University Campus for the College of Engineering at Northeastern University.
Professor Alshawabkeh’s research interests include geo-environmental engineering, soil and groundwater remediation, electro kinetic and electrotechnical processes, contaminant fate and transport environmental restoration, and environmental health.
