Project Description

The sensing of cargo and checked baggage is challenging but important for security. This project aims to identify accurate physics-based models of cargo and checked baggage sensing, and to use these models to develop methods for physics-based reconstruction. These methods will incorporate tools from compressed sensing to yield superior image quality from limited angle, reduced measurement geometries that are typical for cargo applications.
