Ben-Gurion University
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev was established in 1969 with the aim to bring development to the Negev, a desert area comprising more than sixty percent of the country. The University was inspired by the vision of Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, who believed that the future of the country lay in this region.
Today, Ben-Gurion University is a major center for teaching and research, with campuses in Beer-Sheva, including the Marcus Family Campus, as well as in Eilat and Sede Boqer, where Ben-Gurion lived in his final years and is buried. More than 19,000 students are enrolled in the Faculties of Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management and the Kreitman School of Advanced Graduate Studies. The University also includes major research institutes such as the National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev, the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research with its Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies and the Ben-Gurion Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism.
Boston University
Founded in 1839, Boston University is a private institution. Programs are offered through the Colleges of Communication and Engineering; Metropolitan College - School of Hospitality Management; the Schools for the Arts, Education, Law, Management, Medicine, Public Health, Social Work, and Theology; the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences; the Goldman School of Dental Medicine; and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Its 133-acre campus is located on the Charles River in downtown Boston.
The university emphasizes student teacher interaction, research and sound education throughout nearly 250 programs of study. With 11 undergraduate Schools and Colleges, the University provides access to myriad internships, one of the nations most extensive study abroad programs, cutting edge research and noted faculty - including three Nobel Laureates, 10 Fulbright Scholars, 3 MacArthur Genius Award recipients and a former Poet Laureate. Students participate in nearly 400 student organizations and 23 NCAA Division I varsity sports teams. The campus continues to expand. New facilities include a new arena, a fitness and recreation center, and a life science and engineering facility.

Hebrew University of Jerusalem
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was opened in 1925 on Mount Scopus, which overlooks the Old City of Jerusalem. Today more than 23,000 students study on the four campuses of the University. The Hebrew University is open to all academically qualified applicants, regardless of nationality, race, creed, color or religion. Studies are offered on the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels and postgraduate diploma programs.
Massachusetts General Hospital
The third oldest general hospital in the United States and the oldest and largest hospital in New England, Mass General continues its tradition of excellence today. The hospital is consistently ranked among the top five hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. In 2008, Mass General was redesignated a Magnet hospital, the highest honor for nursing excellence awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Morehouse College
The mission of Morehouse College is to develop men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership and service. A private historically black liberal arts college for men, Morehouse realizes this mission by emphasizing the intellectual and character development of its students. In addition, the College assumes special responsibility for teaching the history and culture of black people.
Founded in 1867 and located in Atlanta, Georgia, Morehouse is an academic community dedicated to teaching, scholarship, and service, and the continuing search for truth as a liberating force. New Mexico State University
A comprehensive land-grant institution of higher learning, New Mexico State University is dedicated to teaching, research, and service at the undergraduate and graduate levels. NMSU is a NASA Space Grant College, a Hispanic-serving institution and is home to the only Honors College in New Mexico.
NMSU provides learning opportunities to a diverse population of students and community members at five campuses, a satellite learning center in Albuquerque, cooperative extension offices located in each of New Mexico's 33 counties, 13 research and science centers and through distance education.

University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez
The College of Agriculture at Mayagüez was founded in 1911. It was in the College of Agriculture where the Mayagüez Campus as we know it today had its origin. The Strengthening and diversification of the academic programs at Mayagüez were recognized years later when, in 1942, as a result of university reform, the campus was organized with a considerable degree of autonomy into the Colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, and Science under the direction of the vice-chancellor. The expansion continued through the 1950s when many programs flourished in the University. The College of Arts and Sciences and the Nuclear Center were established in Mayagüez. The Colleges of Humanities, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Business Administration emerged in Rio Piedras. The Schools of Medicine, Odontology, and Tropical Medicine were established in San Juan.
In 1966, the Legislative Assembly reorganized the University of Puerto Rico as a system of autonomous campuses, each under the direction of a chancellor. The College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts became the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.
Today, the Mayagüez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico continues its development in the best tradition of a Land Grant institution. It is a co-educational, bilingual, and non-sectarian school comprising the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, and the Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies.
Washington State University
Washington State University is a land-grant university that conducts transformational research and provides world-class education to more than 25,000 students statewide. Students are taught in an environment enriched by research activities and graduate study.
Founded in Pullman in 1890, WSU's statewide system includes campuses in Spokane, the Tri-Cities, and Vancouver, extension offices in every county, and online degree programs accessible around the world.
The Carnegie Foundation classifies WSU as one of 96 U.S. public and private universities with very high research activity. U.S. News and World Report consistently ranks the University among the top 60 public universities.
Weizmann Institute
The Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the world's leading multidisciplinary research centers, is located in Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv on Israel's coastal plain. Today, around 2500 scientists, postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D. and M.Sc. students, and scientific, technical and administrative staff work at the Institute, where lush lawns and sub-tropical gardens serve as a backdrop to the cutting-edge research performed in its labs. In addition, visiting scientists and their families - over 500 from 35 countries in 2010 - and numerous participants in international scientific conferences and symposia are regularly hosted at the Institute, which also offers a wide range of cultural and educational activities to the public at large.
