November 2015 Paper Rockets Field Trip

On November 6, 2015, fifty seventh grade students made their way to Northeastern from the Murphy K-8 school in Dorchester, MA. The Center for STEM Education and AIAA Northeastern put on the paper rockets activity for these students. Members of AIAA gave a presentation about model rocketry and rocket stability. The students learned about the requirements of a rocket and were able to apply this information to their paper rocket designs. Members of AIAA assisted with the designing, building, and launching of these paper creations.
