NU STRIDE
What is STRIDE?
STRIDE stands for Strategies and Tactics for Recruiting to Improve Diversity and Excellence.Northeastern University will be utilizing an adaptation of the University of Michigan developed STRIDE Recruitment Committee to support search committees in the hiring process.
The STRIDE Committee is a team of NU faculty who aim to increase the diversity in applicant pools by improving hiring and evaluation procedures to reduce reliance on biases in practices. The STRIDE Committee will hold workshops for recruitment committee members to discuss innovative strategies for recruitment and evaluation. The STRIDE committee is composed of distinguished senior faculty members who are highly respected in their fields and at Northeastern University.
