Strategies for Identifying a University Press for your First Book

Gloria Sutton, Assistant Professor of Art History and Liza Weinstein, Associate Professor of Sociology will share their strategies and experiences on how they: 1) approached a university press, 2) selected which press to approach, 3) developed their time line for writing, and 4) other information about publishing a book. The STRIDE Committee is a team of Northeastern senior faculty who aim to increase faculty diversity by leading interactive faculty discussions focused on understanding implicit biases in evaluation processes and offering good practices in the faculty search process.
