Congratulations on becoming a Husky!
Participation in New Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming first year and transfer students. Though not mandatory for parent/family members, we encourage their participation as well! Orientation introduces you to the university and prepares you to begin your life as a college student. Students will have several dates to choose from during the summer months of June and July. Orientation dates are college/program specific. Please note that international students typically attend the Orientation during the session immediately preceding the start of the academic semester in late August. Dates and registration will be made available to all enrolled students in their Admitted Student Portal in April.
At Orientation, students will have the opportunity to learn their way around campus and Boston, as well as prepare for the start of the academic year, and experience what makes Northeastern unique. Students will also register for classes, get their student ID card, and partake in a variety of activities.
For additional information or assistance, contact New Student Orientation and Parent/Family Programs at 800.696.6516, or via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: The Undergraduate Student Fee supports first year student orientation costs, including the opportunity to have two complimentary guests participate in the Parent and Family Program, which runs parallel to the Student Program during Orientation. Students will automatically be billed this fee upon enrollment; more information may be found on the Student Financial Services website.
