ISSI offers an extensive orientation program for international students and US students who have lived abroad, which is in addition to the New Student Orientation. International students must attend ISSI Orientation, and U.S. citizens residing abroad are encouraged to participate. ISSI Orientation includes information on cultural adjustment, academics, immigration, student life, and other essential matters. The ISSI Orientation schedule is complemented by local and regional excursions aimed at heightening familiarity with another culture. The academic component of the program, which includes academic advising, takes place during New Student Orientation. ISSI Orientation begins prior to the start of classes and continues throughout the months of September, October and January. Enrolled students will be contacted with the schedule.
