Fall Open House Directions
Northeastern University is located in Boston’s Back Bay, along Huntington Avenue, between Symphony Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts.
For Open House programs, parking is available in the Columbus Garage located at 795 Columbus Avenue. Download a parking pass.
Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center, Indoor Quad.
From the North (Route I-93 or Route 1)
At the merge with Route 3 (Southeastern Expressway), take the Storrow Drive exit, and proceed to the Fenway exit. Follow signs for Boylston Street Inbound, and bear right at Westland Avenue, which leads to Massachusetts Avenue. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue, proceed to the third traffic light and turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The Columbus Garage is approximately one-half mile on your right at 795 Columbus Avenue. Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center.
From the West (Route 90, Mass Turnpike)
Take Exit 22 (Copley Square), and bear right. Proceed to the first traffic light, and turn right onto Dartmouth Street. Take the next right onto Columbus Avenue. It is approximately one mile to the Northeastern University Parking Garage at 795 Columbus Avenue. The entrance to the Columbus Garage is on the right. Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center.
From the West (Route 9)
Proceed inbound on Route 9 until it becomes Huntington Avenue (approximately one-half mile after Brigham Circle), and take a right onto Ruggles Street. At the third traffic light, take a left onto Tremont Street, take the next left onto Melnea Cass Boulevard, and then turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The entrance to the Columbus Garage is one block on the left at 795 Columbus Avenue. Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center.
From the South (Route 3, Southeast Expressway)
Take Exit 18 (Massachusetts Avenue), and at the second light, go left onto the Massachusetts Avenue connector. Proceed straight onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Continue for approximately 2 miles, and turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The Columbus Garage is one block on the left at 795 Columbus Avenue. Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center.
By Public Transportation
Northeastern University is conveniently located on Huntington Avenue, two blocks form the corner of Massachusetts Avenue. The campus is accessible by “T” from the Green Line (take an “E” train outbound toward Heath Street; get off at the Northeastern stop, which is the first stop above ground) and from the Orange Line (take any train going outbound to Forest Hills; get off at the Ruggles Station). Commuter rail lines connect with the Orange Line at Back Bay Station and North Station. Open House Registration is in the Curry Student Center.
