Explore Northeastern – Information Session & Campus Tour
Our Explore Northeastern session is a packaged program for prospective students and parents that includes a 45-minute presentation by an admissions counselor and a 1-hour walking tour of campus.
The presentation describes our distinctive academic and experiential programs, and our admission and financial aid process. The campus tour, led by one of our Husky Ambassadors, will show you academic and research areas, a first-year residence hall, and recreation centers.
Explore Northeastern sessions are offered Monday through Friday, please register now and view available times. Explore Northeastern sessions are also offered on a number of Saturdays throughout the year.
Inside Northeastern-Information Session & Campus Tour for Admitted Students Only
Admitted student tours and information sessions are offered Monday through Saturday in the University Visitor Center. Register through your myNEU Admitted Student Portal.
Learn more about Northeastern’s transfer application process, criteria for admission, and how transfer credit is evaluated. The program starts at 1 p.m. in the Admissions Visitor Center and includes a 45-minute information session followed by a one-hour tour of campus.

Additional Tour Options
In addition to the general campus tours (as part of our Explore Northeastern, Inside Northeastern, and Transfer sessions), visitors can also register for the following specialized tour:
International Village Tour
This tour includes an in-depth walk through of International Village (INV), our newest residential complex. INV focuses on the global aspects of the undergraduate experience at Northeastern and is home to our freshmen honors students, faculty-in-residence and more than 1,000 undergraduates including a number of Living/Learning Communities. The tour makes stops throughout the residential complex, including a room. Tours depart from the Visitor Center.
College of Arts, Media & Design
The College of Arts, Media & Design is pleased to offer prospective students a one-hour presentation to hear from a passionate panel of artists, designers, architects, actors, and writers. Following the large presentation, smaller conversations hosted by representatives from the departments/majors are offered for those interested in getting more information about a specific program. Both the large and small presentations will allow prospective students time to ask questions and learn more about how CAMD prepares students for their creative industry of choice.

D’Amore-McKim School of Business
Hosted by academic advisers, co-op faculty, and students, the D’Amore-McKim School of Business offers special presentations for prospective students interested in pursing a degree in Business Administration or International Business. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about the different academic concentrations, co-op opportunities, and first-hand experiences of Northeastern students majoring in Business.
Upcoming D’Amore McKim School of Business sessions will be offered in the Admissions Visitor Center on January 16, February 20, March 20, April 3, April 17, April 24, May 15, and June 18.
College of Computer and Information Science
Co-op faculty and academic advisers from the College of Computer and Information Science invite you to join them for CCIS Mondays. This one-hour presentation is designed for you to learn more about the curriculum as well as unique combined majors, co-op opportunities, and success stories of recent graduates. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the programs CCIS has to offer. Following the presentation, participants are invited on a short student-led tour of the college.
College of Computer and Information Science Information Sessions is offered in the Admissions Visitor Center each Monday with the exceptions of January 5, March 23, and May 25. In addition to the Monday sessions, there will be one session offered on Wednesday, April 22.
College of Engineering
Prospective students are invited to attend Engineering Wednesdays, a weekly specialty presentation for students interested in engineering hosted by members of the College of Engineering’s Dean’s Office. This presentation is an opportunity to learn about academic programs, cooperative education, and support services offered to engineering students at Northeastern. Following the one-hour presentation, visitors will be invited to participate in 90-minute tour of the engineering research labs.
College of Engineering sessions are offered in the Admissions Visitor Center every Wednesday starting January 14. Additional COE sessions on Saturday (without a tour) will be offered on February 14, March 21, April 18, and April 25.
Bouvé College of Health Sciences
Please join members of Bouvé College of Health Sciences for a 45-minute overview presentation highlighting academic, co-op, research, and global opportunities. Following this presentation, guests participate in 45-minute faculty-led breakout sessions specific to the major they are most interested in pursuing. These two sessions are an opportunity for prospective students to meet current students and academic advisers who will answer questions and share their experiences as members of the Bouvé community.

College of Science
Please join members of the College of Science for a one-hour program designed to highlight Northeastern’s approach to the physical sciences, life sciences, and mathematics. Learn how faculty and students at Northeastern engage in discovery, invention, and innovation to collaborate on research projects aimed at solving global challenges. This presentation is an opportunity for our visitors to hear from representatives from the College of Science as they introduce you to the endless opportunities for varied academic pursuits.

College of Social Sciences and Humanities
Prospective students interested in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities majors are encouraged to attend this one-hour presentation highlighting the interdisciplinary approach to education and research within CSSH. This presentation affords visitors the opportunity to meet department representatives, learn how coursework is linked to service and community-based research, and discover opportunities for co-op and global exploration.
Upcoming CSSH sessions will be hosted in the Admissions Visitor Center on February 18, March 18, April 21, and June 24.
Program for Undeclared Students
Prospective students with multiple academic interests or those who are still trying to determine which degree path to follow are encouraged to participate in a one-hour presentation that explains the benefits of the Program for Undeclared Students. This presentation addresses commonly asked questions regarding curriculum, transition to a declared major, experiential and global education, co-op opportunities, advising, and more.
Upcoming Program for Undeclared Students sessions will be hosted in the Admissions Visitor Center on February 27, March 13, April 10, May 1, and June 11.
College Drop-In Hours
Bouvé College of Health Sciences: Office of Student Services in 120 Behrakis Health Sciences Center; drop-in hours run from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Monday and Friday. No registration required. An academic adviser will be available to meet and talk with students and answer any questions.
College of Arts, Media and Design: Meetings by appointment only, please coordinate with Kate Benson, firstname.lastname@example.org or 617.373.6972.
Group visit programs offered through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions are designed for high school and college transfer students from community organizations and schools.
Guidelines: We require groups of 10 or more to submit a visit request at least two weeks in advance. The maximum group size we can accommodate is 40 students. If your group exceeds 40, please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
