For admission consideration into this program, the following prerequisite courses are preferred:
- Anatomy & Physiology I and II with labs
- Freshman English I and II
- Chemistry I with lab
- Physics I with lab
- Precalculus
- Two open electives
Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
For admission consideration into this program, the following prerequisite courses are preferred:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II with labs
- Freshman English I and II
- Introduction to Psychology
- Developmental Psychology
- Precalculus
- Two open electives
Physical Therapy (Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy)
Second-year admission, fall entry only. For admission consideration into this program, the following prerequisite courses are required:
- Freshmen English I and II
- General Chemistry I and II with labs
- Precalculus
- Introduction to Psychology
- Statistics
- Developmental Psychology
- Two open electives
Physical Therapy (Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy)
Third-year admission, begins in the summer semester. In addition to the courses listed above, the college suggests that you also complete the following:
- Anatomy & Physiolgy I and II with labs
- Physics I and II with labs
- Three open electives
School of Nursing
Transfer BSN
The transfer BSN is a two-year, nine-month full-time day undergraduate professional program that includes cooperative education experience, through which students will work for pay in a nursing setting. The program is designed for students who already have a degree, or have at least two years of full-time college experience.
For admission consideration into the transfer BSN track, a minimum of 41 semester hours of transferable coursework, including the following prerequisite courses, is required:
- Anatomy and Physiology I, II (with labs)
- Biology I (with lab)
- Intro to Psychology
- College Algebra or Calculus
- English Composition
- Chemistry I (with lab)
- Microbiology (with lab)
- Nutrition
- Developmental Psychology
- Open elective
Students who already have a baccalaureate degree may qualify for this program but may also want to consider the Direct Entry Master's Program in Nursing offered through the Bouvé College of Health Sciences Graduate Program.
