Applicants for admission will receive their admission decision by the deadlines below. Students applying as a freshmen for the fall semester may receive one of four admission decisions: admitted for the fall semester, admitted for the spring semester, waitlisted or denied. Northeastern enrolls more than 500 new students in the Spring semester (which begins in January). Spring admitted students may choose from a variety of options for the fall, including working, volunteering, attending classes at another institution or participating in NUin, a study abroad program.
