Welcome Days
Students who are admitted to the University are invited to attend special Welcome Days for opportunities to learn more about their academic program and our community. Dates are announced upon decision release.
We strongly recommend making a campus visit to help you to make your college decision. For students who cannot attend their Welcome Day, we offer a number of alternative visit options.
Class Visits
If you cannot make your Welcome Day, we can arrange for you to learn more about Northeastern academics by attending class with a current student. You can request a class visit 2 weeks in advance by emailing Sarah Walk, Admissions Counselor (s.walk@neu.edu). Please include your NUID and the days(s) you can visit in your email. Note that the Class Visits Program will end in the last full week of the Spring semester; the final day available for Class Visits is April 10, 2009.
Inside Northeastern
Sessions for Admitted Students, co-presented by an admissions counselor and current students.
Meet other admitted students and their families, and learn information about the wide array of choices and opportunities that Northeastern offers. The content of these sessions depends on your questions, and our admissions staff and current students are eager to talk about their first-hand experiences with you. This interactive session is about an hour long. If you haven’t already, we recommend you take a campus tour afterwards.
Monday, February 9 - Wednesday, April 29. No appointment is necessary

Explore Northeastern
Sessions for admitted and prospective students
Discover the Northeastern difference by spending a morning or afternoon on our campus. An Explore Northeastern session includes a presentation by an admissions counselor and a walking tour of campus led by one of our Husky Ambassadors. On weekdays, arrive at 9am, 10am, 1pm or 2pm for a 2-hour visit. On Saturdays, arrive at 9am for a 2-hour visit. No appointment is necessary.
General Campus Tours
Our Admissions Visitor Center, located at 30 Leon Street in the Behrakis Health Science Center, offers year-round campus tours for all students and their families.
Student-led tours are offered every hour, on the hour, from 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. during the week and 9:00 - 11:00a.m. on Saturdays. No appointment is necessary.
