Our students do more than simply listen to lectures or observe research from afar—they create knowledge firsthand. The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors empowers students to explore research opportunities beginning in their first year. Through collaborative partnerships with faculty mentors and peers and experiential learning opportunities in hospitals, laboratories, and corporations around the world, Northeastern students are engaged and connected to learning on a global stage.
Northeastern undergraduate researchers have the opportunity to share and present their work at several different expos, conferences, and symposiums. Northeastern also provides pathways for undergraduates to gain funding for their projects.
Every day, Northeastern’s undergraduates engage in knowledge creation, artistic expression, and entrepreneurial innovation in collaboration with faculty and peers on campus and around the globe. Find out more about how our undergraduates are engaging in research.
