Global Learning

As a university that is a world leader in global learning, and where teaching and research is grounded in global engagement, Northeastern's impact is felt on every continent.

You will shape the world and the world will shape you, through unmatched experiential learning opportunities for work, research, study, and service in 160 cities in 69 countries; and through the diversity of a dynamic campus that connects students from 130 countries, all engaged in the exchange of ideas and the common pursuit of academic, cultural, and professional experience and enterprise.

The World Language Center prepares Northeastern students to make the most of their global experiences, offering classes in more than 15 languages.

The Office of International Cooperative Education and the Office of International Study Programs are key resources for students who are interested in pursuing an international experience.

The Presidential Global Scholars initiative supports our students' international co-op aspirations, awarding up to 200 competitive grants each year.

These opportunities give our students the chance to immerse themselves in the language, culture, history and academic environment to acquire the access and skills to succeed in the new global economy.
