American Classroom Program
American Classroom is a transitional experience for international students who are looking for advanced English language preparation and an introduction to the American education system and college culture. This program is an excellent start to your American university studies and provides a comprehensive academic and cultural experience designed to help you succeed at Northeastern University and improve your English language skills. Throughout your time in American Classroom, you will benefit from individual academic advising and support services.
U.S. Sino Pathways Program
The U.S. Sino Pathways Program (USPP) is designed to offer academically qualified Chinese students an opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies in the U.S. After completing fall and spring terms at one of eight USPP sites in China, successful students participate in the U.S.-based Summer Bridge portion. Students successfully meeting all academic progression requirements and admissions criteria of their affiliated U.S. institution may enroll in an undergraduate degree program. This first-year college program is designed for recent high school graduates and GED recipients who would like to pursue a college education and would benefit from a more structured and supportive first year experience. Foundation Year offers students rigorous academic and career preparation as well as wraparound support services that include advising, tutoring, mentoring, social networking, and work-ready skills.
