PROCEDURE:

IS Training Services offers free computer training to current NU students, faculty, and staff, including:

Web-Based Applications Training: In conjunction with the Boston Consortium and online training providers Element K, ISCS Training Services offers computer training over the World Wide Web. All members of the University community can acquire a logon and password during Element K demonstration classes.

Office Productivity Applications: We offer classes on MS Office productivity applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access and Project. Visit us online at www.infoservices.neu.edu to find out more about our MS Office software training classes.
Other Software Classes: We offer classes on Crystal Reports, SPSS, and other software packages.

Online demonstrations: We provide online demonstrations, such as how to use Northeastern’s myFiles, an on-line file storage and sharing solution, and Lotus Notes.

IS Security Awareness: Our IS Security team offers a monthly class about Information Security.

Custom training classes are also offered. If you would like to arrange for a custom training class for your students, office, or department, IS Customer Services will make every effort to accommodate special requests.
