Human Resource Management - Standard Business Hours

PURPOSE: To define the standard business hours for University departments.

SCOPE: All University departments.

POLICY:
1. All departments are generally expected to be open at least from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Some departments are routinely open longer than these hours to accommodate the unique needs of their service area. Each department will determine regular office hours as needed to meet the requirements of their area. 

2. This policy addresses only the standard business hours for the University. Individual hours to be worked are arranged with the respective managers in charge of each area and are not the subject of this policy.
