Procedure

Title: Salary Verifications
Purpose: To provide employment and salary information to authorized institutions or individuals.
Who Performs: Payroll Office.
Documentation Needed Written authorization from the employee to release requested information.
Contact Department Payroll Office, 225 Richards Hall, x2280.

Procedure:

1. Payroll Office receives request from institution, individual, or HRM.

2. If the request is sent to HRM, its staff verifies employment and sends request to the Payroll Office.

3. Payroll Office staff provides current salary and previous earnings as requested.

4. Authorized Payroll Office staff verifies information.

5. Payroll Office staff returns completed verification to the originator.
